morning Ian Wilkinson headed
onto the moors above Keighley
to see Jonty Sharp of Tewitt Hall
Farm, Oakworth. At 1,050 feet
no wonder it’s a tad blustery
and in winter a good portion is
above the snow line.
After going half a mile down
the wrong track I arrived to be
met by a cheerful Jonty, who
took me into the farmhouse
to chat. Jonty is the third
generation of farmer at Tewitt
Hall: his grandfather took on the
