BUILT IN YORKSHIRE TO LAST
Bradley trailer products have been developed over many years with early examples still in service – a testament to the design, ruggedness and reliability of Bradley. Products are manufactured in our 70,000 ft2 manufacturing facility in Bingley, Yorkshire.
The Bradley name has become synonymous with quality and renowned reliability with a workforce of over 60 and with 65 years of craftsmanship which has secured a clutch of industry awards including the Queens Award for Enterprise – your guarantee of longevity. But, as the ‘Rolls Royce’ and market leader of axles, couplings, jockey wheels and towing ‘jaws’, the brand, started by two brothers in Yorkshire and now employing more than 60 staff, has recently come under increasing threat from cheaper, overseas competitors who sell on price rather than quality. As a result, this traditional British trailer icon, which has been investing heavily in marketing and research and development, has gone on the offensive. Not only has it designed its own brand new “built to last” trailer brake but it has engaged Warwick Design Agency Formation Media to convert its web presence into a potent online marketing tool that delivers a broader technical and commercial communication with its customers. Bradley has enjoyed a close relationship with the farming community for much of the 65 years since it commenced business. Farmers recognise the durability of Bradley’s couplings and jockey wheels and for its part, Bradley has tailored its product range to suit the more demanding conditions that farmers face on a daily basis. For example, the company’s range now includes leaf sprung solid beam axles in addition to its rubber suspension axles. The experience gained from meeting the needs of the farming industry was, no doubt, instrumental in aiding Bradley’s experienced Technical team to design cutting edge products for the UK Ministry of Defence whose demands also include reliable
