As our pictures show, the
Gator range - both diesel and
petrol - really are superbly agile
and versatile farm and estate
vehicles with a myriad of uses.
The Gator range combines
durability,accessibility, ease of
use and value for money. Also
on show was the unique oneoff Gator special, prepared by
RFS, fitted with John Deere’s
new 825i petrol engineand
complete with special livery
and full LED lighting!
As the day progressed, there
was a steady flow of customer

could receive attention and be
able to test drive one or more
vehicles, either accompanied
or not. Legendary RFS
hospitality was upto its usual
high standard with free-flowing
tea and coffee along with a
delicious Hog Roast to provide
those always hungry farmers
with an endless supply of hot
roast pork sandwiches with
lashings of crackling, stuffing
and apple sauce!

what a superb machine these
are. As a novice operator, I
certainly found them very easy
to operate and versatile. This
is a no-nonsense machine that
will do any job you require with
ease.
To complement a very full and
interesting day,Ripon’s range

were on hand for testing,
supported by expert tuition and
technical knowledge from the
DIECI team themselves. These
are reliable, robust, up to
date yet not over complicated
handlers that do exactly ‘what
it says on the tin.’

Feedback from visitors
emphasised how impressed
they werewith the organisation
and friendliness of the team
and how much thoroughly
enjoyed the test drives – as
well as the tasty sandwiches!
As we all know well, farmers
are very discerning buyers and
all the machines on display
met their high criteria in every
way.

and never fails to deliver. This
March event was certainly no
exception.
