BROCKHOLES AUCTION MART there has been a large increase in trade here. Richard Furnival and James Fish of Armitstead Barnett, are employed as Auctioneers at the Market. The Market holds regular Shows and Sales including prime stock, stores, calves, dairy on Tuesdays and OTM cattle on Wednesday. Show and sales of Store Lambs, Gimmer Lambs, Breeding Sheep and Tups are held regularly through the From August to November. Twice yearly Machinery Sales are held in Spring and Autumn and Dressed Poultry Sales at Christmas. Customers are travelling from an ever increasing distance as it is clearly proving worth their while. During the past 10 years, a lot of building work has taken place transforming the premises from a somewhat antiquated Auction Mart with a Portakabin and basic facilities - to the state of the art Modern Auction Mart that is now expected.
