It is recommended that the herbicides for pre-emergent broadleaf control be limited to these products because of the threat of herbicide carry over to other crops. The sweet and baby corn varieties are very sensitive to other herbicides and such products as halosulfuron and Nicosulfuron should only be applied if permission is received from the seed merchants. Directed shielded sprays can aways be used but these should be limited to those with minimal carry over. 8. PESTS Before spraying any chemical make sure you have checked on its harvest interval, the withholding period and the re-entry period.
