FROM THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
It is my pleasure to welcome you to this edition of the Export Brief. This magazine
was originally conceived to provide insights and critical analysis of the international
business environment and practices in Nigeria.
That is the guiding principle for the editorial content, and the standard we‘ve set for
ourselves. I believe that in this edition, we‘ve tried to live up to that standard.
Peter E. Inyang
In the last edition of this publication, we looked critically at agribusiness in Nigeria,
the opportunities, the challenges and possible solutions.
In this issue, you‘ll find insights from a diverse selection of contributors working in a wide range of business contexts
– the world bank, trade finance institutions, international trade experts and independent consultants as well as our
in-house writers. The idea behind the Export Brief is simple – to deliver insightful ideas, arguments and spark
conversations.
The Export Brief has been read by policy makers, business leaders in different economic sectors, academic leaders in
several countries and we‘re only just getting started.
On the new IEOM website, you can access select content from the Export Brief or subscribe to receive printed
copies of the Export Brief delivered to you. You may also download a PDF version via your member‘s dashboard.
I urge you to send in your feedback, to let us know how we‘re doing and how we can improve any aspect of this
publication to deliver even better value to you.
Till next issue, enjoy reading.
