Homeschool students are invited to join Hendricks County Park Naturalists for ecology lessons!

The Homeschool Ecology series offers hands-on, ageappropriate, and interactive activities on ecology topics. These programs are designed to build on each other, but students may register for the lessons that interest them and fit their schedules.

Have you ever wondered what causes rain, tornadoes, hurricanes or snow? Our naturalists are going to present all things weather and show you how to observe weather metrics at home, such as rain, temperature, and wind. We’ ll also go on a hike to record our weather observations at the park.
