Our Active Council on Recreation Needs ( ACORN ) program is designed to provide a no-pressure look into parks and recreation careers for teenagers who are contemplating their futures after high school . Gibbs Memorial Park from members of our maintenance crew . You might think that our maintenance crew simply mows grass all day , but that couldn ’ t be further from the truth ! You ’ ll discover a wide range of skills , backgrounds , and talents that our crew possesses to both build and maintain a park . Then put your construction hats on because you will be designing your own park !
