Start the new year off on the right foot by joining this brisk hike ! Burn some calories and enjoy fresh air and good company ! An easy hike and a moderate-to-difficult hike will be offered at the same time .
Hiking terrain info : easy to difficult , gravel and natural surfaces , up to 2-4 miles .

WINTER POETRY WALK Saturday , Jan . 23 • 10 a . m .– 3 p . m . McCloud Nature Park
Stalk the frigid footpaths for inspiration in the pristine elegance of winter ’ s touch . We ’ ve placed poems along the trail to keep you company . What other wild wonders hide away in the seemingly bleak boughs ? When you ’ re ready , warm up in the Nature Center and , should you feel so inspired , write a poem of your own !
APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES . CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST ATTEND WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN . FREE TO ATTEND NO ADVANCE REGISTRATION REQUIRED APPROXIMATE PROGRAM DURATION : 5 HOURS ( ON-GOING ). THE SELF-GUIDED HIKE WILL TAKE ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO COMPLETE .

This craft is perfect for anyone who has been experiencing the missing sock phenomenon . Turn a sock into a snowman that can be used for a winter decoration or a fun door stop . Bring your own sock or , if you forget one , we ’ ll provide one .
