MAPLE SYRUP DAYS Saturday , March 6 and March 13 9 a . m .– 3 p . m . McCloud Nature Park
An annual favorite , our Maple Syrup Days allow visitors a hands-on experience while discovering the rich , delicious history of maple sugaring . Learn how to tap a tree , watch a demonstration of the process as it was done in pioneer days , and take a visit to our Sugar Shack to learn how syrup is made today . ( See page 4 for more information .)

SNOWMAN BURN & NIGHT HIKE Saturday , March 20 • 7:30 p . m . McCloud Nature Park
Step aside , winter – we are ready for spring ! Celebrate the seasonal change with the symbolic burning of a wicker snowman , and when the flames die down , roast s ’ mores over its grapevine corpse . Round out the night with a hike under the Worm Moon !
Hiking terrain info : moderate level of difficulty in the dark , gravel and natural surfaces , up to 1 mile .
RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 6 THROUGH ADULT ; CHILDREN YOUNGER THAN 16 MUST ATTEND WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN WHO IS REGISTERED FOR THE PROGRAM AND ABLE TO HIKE THE TRAILS
