The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County ’ s Summer Fun Run Series is back for 2025 ! Enjoy an untimed stroll or run with family and friends at W . S . Gibbs Memorial Park at your convenience anytime between June 11 and June 17 . We will offer a short and a long course to run or walk on trails with gravel and natural surfaces . ( Some trails are not conducive to standard strollers . Jogging strollers with larger tires are a better option .) On June 11 between 4:30 and 6:30 p . m ., we ’ ll have staff on-site with ice cold water for you to cool down with when you ’ re done if you ’ d like to complete your run or walk at that time .

KIDS ’ FISHING DERBY W . S . Gibbs Memorial Park
JUNE 7 • 10 A . M .
Join us for a fun-filled day of fishing at our annual Kids ’ Fishing Derby at W . S . Gibbs Memorial Park ! The event will kick off with check-in from 9:30 to 10 a . m ., followed by fishing from 10 a . m . to noon . After the fishing ends , we ’ ll tally up the results and present awards shortly after ! Our awards will feature beautiful wooden fish plaques crafted by our talented maintenance team .
This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors , meet fellow fishing enthusiasts , and compete for some unique prizes . Whether you ’ re a seasoned angler or a beginner , we welcome everyone to participate ! Come join us for a full day of fishing fun !
