McCloud Nature Park opened to the public on May 3 , 2003 , and we are celebrating 20 years together with festivities for the entire month of May . Join us as we honor McCloud Nature Park ’ s past , present , and future !
MCCLOUD BIRTHDAY CHALLENGE McCloud Birthday Challenge scavenger hunt ! Complete each weekly challenge in May to earn four unique badges as you hunt for clues hiking the trails of McCloud . Are you up for the challenge ?
EVENING UNDER THE STARS
Saturday , May 27 • 6 PM Join us for an enchanting evening under the stars as we close the celebration with a campfire dinner and gourmet s ’ mores ! Gather around the campfire to learn some history and share stories while making new memories to put in the record books .
Cost : $ 15 / registrant ( those under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult ); Advanced registration required by Saturday , May 17 for the Campfire Dinner
Following the campfire dinner stick around and learn how to use powerful telescopes provided by The Indiana Astronomical Society to stargaze in the night sky from telescope viewing stations . The astronomy program will begin at 9 p . m .
