Need a geranium for that cranium ? We ’ re crafting crowns perfect for pixies , sprites , and any mortals looking to accent their noggins with floral flair . Make a leafy laurel or a flowery tiara – your choice ! – and wear it on a hike along our secret fairy trail .

The Parks Foundation of Hendricks County ’ s Summer Fun Run Series is back for 2021 ! Enjoy an untimed stroll or run with family and friends at your convenience anytime between 4 and 7 p . m . at McCloud Nature Park ! We will offer a short and a long course to run or walk on trails with gravel and natural surfaces . ( Trails are not conducive to standard strollers . Jogging strollers with larger tires are a better option .) We ’ ll have ice cold water for you to cool down when you ’ re done ! Search the trails with a naturalist for the surest sign of spring : blooming wildflowers ! These short-lived spring ephemerals leaf out , bloom , and go to seed quickly , so spot them while you can ! Wear comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots . Feel free to bring your own wildflower field guide or borrow one of ours .
