Beyond the realm of our solar system are some of the most spectacular objects you’ ll ever see! Learn to identify and observe them in the deep night sky above McCloud Nature Park! The Indiana Astronomical society will present a brief informational session, rain or shine, describing the celestial objects to be observed, followed by outdoor stargazing under clear skies only. Learn to use the powerful telescopes provided to share or bring your own.

Come out to W. S. Gibbs Memorial Park this year for our Market in the Park( formerly Farmer’ s Parket) events, where you will find local artisans, baked goods, crafts, homemade goods and more available for purchase from local vendors! We’ ll also have food and drink vendors serving up some tasty eats.

BI BINGO!

Hang out looking at our bird feeders and you could win a prize! Take one of our bird bingo sheets and hang out in the Nature Viewing Area of the Ray & Mary Benson Nature Center at McCloud Nature Park to see what birds come by.
Once you get a bingo, bring it to a naturalist to get a piece of candy or a small prize from our bin! Join us in the nature center during open hours( Tues.- Sat., 10 a. m. to 4 p. m.) to participate.
