E xperience autumn in full color at McCloud Days: Fall Colors

Festival! Enjoy a day packed with vibrant festivities, including live music, local vendors, archery, axe throwing, hayrides, a cozy bonfire, and picture-perfect photo ops.
Step back in time with our Pioneer Days station featuring hands-on experiences like fire cooking, butter churning, letter writing, and more old-fashioned fun for all ages.
This event is free to attend and park. If you’ d like to go on a hayride it will be $ 5 / person. No advance registration requierd.
We want to celebrate McCloud Nature Park over the years and will have a photo wall with photos from people enjoying McCloud in years past. If you have a photo you would like to include in the photo wall, you can email it to mccloudnp @ hcparks. net or bring it into the nature center!

The Fall Colors Run takes its name from the spectacular colors you’ ll see under the beautiful autumn canopy of McCloud Nature Park. Race Start Time: 8:45 a. m. • Check-In: 8:00 a. m.

E njoy the beautiful fall colors and the crisp air while running the trails at McCloud Nature Park during the Fall

Colors Run on October 11th. Hosted by RaceMaker Productions, this event will feature a 5K and a 10K walk or run. Scenes will include forest, prairie, Big Walnut Creek, and the historic truss bridge! After the professionally timed race, stick around for the McCloud Fall Colors Festival, which includes food, hayrides, a prairie maze, games, and more for the whole family!
