Mobility Wheelchairs now at Hendricks County Parks
Hendricks County Parks and Recreation , through the gracious funding provided by the Gary Emsweller Parks and Trails fund and the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County , now offers the use of two GRIT 3.0 Mobility Wheelchairs for use by our alternatively abled park patrons . These Mobility Wheelchairs are made for use on easy to moderate hiking trails and can be powered by the rider or by their companions . We are proud to offer these for use , free of charge , to anyone wanting to hike in our beautiful parks . They are available for two-hour rentals on our website . We do ask that patrons reserve no less than two days ahead of time so we know we can have the chair in the needed location .
