Honey Green

Where 2,800 Outdoor Cannabis “ Trees ” Near Harvest

As we headed inside , geared up in personal protection equipment ( PPE ), and sterilized ourselves , we were introduced to indoor plant technician Derek Mayfield , another two-year employee . Here , I learned another new Honey Green-coined term : “ praying to the gods .” Mayfield explained , “ When you see all of the leaves of the plants in the shapes of praying hands reaching to the lights , then you know they are healthy and happy .”
Manufacturing Admin , Ariah Vaden , and Director of Manufacturing , Zane Tasdighysales .
According to Mayfield ( on left ), this wasn ’ t the case for the first couple of years , as overwatering and mold were persistent issues . That was until Briggs joined the team and taught the staff a higher level of attention to detailed and strategic watering for each cannabis strain in each room , as well as a higher level of communication .
“ I ’ m an early riser , so I ’ m here at 4 a . m . checking what each individual strain needs for that day , row by row , all while making short video recordings for each row that I can , and quickly post to our Slack Project Management App ,” said Briggs . “ Then Mayfield can start dosing each row individually as needed –– even remotely on his way to the grow if needed .” When Briggs is on another project at the facility or out of town , then Mayfield records the videos on the app for Briggs ’ immediate approval each day .
This kind of superior communication level is what separates Honey Green from many other cultivators in the state . Throughout the day , if any one of the facility ’ s employees has a question that needs answers from Briggs , they post it on their project management app with a picture if needed instead of searching for Briggs throughout the never-ending outdoor field , indoor facility , or completely relying on walkie-talkies to solve more detail-oriented problems . It ’ s the kind of communication that keeps your plants healthy and happy and customers praying for more .
Although I wanted to mention so many more of the long-term employees that I had the pleasure of meeting , like the Director of Manufacturing , Zane Tasdighysales ( 3.5 years ), and Manufacturing Admin , Ariah Vaden ( over two years ), whose equipment and processes produce some of the cleanest distillate that our state profoundly needs right now , we just don ’ t have the pages available in this issue . I will say that with all those flowering rooms “ praying to the gods ” so hard , the manufacturing side of the facility might be praying for material to run .
Honey Green ’ s indoor grow team working to produce some of Missouri ’ s best flower . Soon to be at dispensaries near you .
The next hardest decision for Honey Green , besides deciding which brands under its umbrella get first dibs on the outdoor monster plants and indoor saints , is when to start harvesting . It will be near the harvest moon . You ’ ll soon find Honey Green flower in these products :
● Wavelength : botanical distillate , cured resin , and live resin in November .
● Honey Green : a new indoor flower brand coming this month ( September ).
● Yum-eez : pectin distillate gummies , and nano fast-acting gummies coming in October .
● SouthFace Farms : Outdoor Flower .
● Catapult : upcoming outdoor brand in October .
● Uncle Mac ’ s : premium indoor flower in October , and rosin carts in November .
May your harvests be abundantly grew , the Farmer ’ s Almanac hold true , and you beat Jack Frost with your amazing crew !
