The 2nd Annual Missouri Growers Cup

And The Winners Are …

The Missouri Grower ’ s Cup held its second annual Growers Cup on September 8 in Kansas City . The competition allowed home growers and commercial cannabis companies to have their products blindly judged by industry experts and peers .

Cannabis aficionados from around Missouri attended to learn more about the best of the best products available statewide . The Missouri Grower ’ s Cup ’ s goal is to showcase Missouri ’ s best cultivators , manufacturers , and home growers in a wide variety of categories within Missouri ’ s rapidly growing cannabis market . Categories included everything you can find in dispensaries , from flower , pre-rolls , vapes , edibles , drinks , and rosin to tinctures , topicals , and more .
“ We are honored and humbled to see the response for the 2nd Annual Missouri Growers Cup ,” said President of the Missouri Growers Cup Nathan Marsh . “ We had an amazing cup with over 150 trophy-quality entries from some of the best producers and growers in the state . The Scavenger hunt was a hit from our Presenting Sponsor , The Amazing Doctor Zymes . There were so many amazing products that the judges were really splitting hairs in most cases . Buff Cherry was the real standout flower from Elevate –– it won 1st Place in our Flower Category . The Homegrown / Medical 1st Place winner came hard with Grape Cream Cake grown by Charles Unger . We can ’ t wait to grow with the community –– next year will be bigger , and better !”
Blind Judging by 11 Curated Industry Peers ( Cannabis Industry Experts ). No random judges . No kits could be bought or judged by their own company staff . Judges didn ’ t see brands or strain names –– 100 % blind judging . Great care was taken in product storage , lab testing , chain of command , and how judges ’ kits were prepared . Sponsors only win if they earn it . Scoring process focused on many factors , including taste , look , smell , and high .
