Diet and obesity can put you at a higher risk of any cancer . Cancers are hormone receptor-positive . Their cells have receptors of estrogen and progesterone , which help the cancer cells grow and spread . Excessive consumption of alcohol , processed meats , red meats , and sugar-sweetened drinks can all increase your risk of cancer . Even the everyday products we use have toxins in them that our bodies can break down . Carefully read the labels on skincare , haircare , lotions , and even toothpaste products . Try to avoid salicylic acid , benzene , and untreated mineral oils .
Did you know most lumps are found by a partner ? Monthly breast exams should be written on your calendar ! Breast Cancer is the second most common type of cancer among women . Men are not immune . For the average man , about one-in-1,000 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer . Finding a lump or a breast mass in your chest or armpit is liable to be the first sign of breast cancer . Know that other signs like nipple changes or bleeding will need to be checked by your doctor ASAP . Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a worldwide campaign to increase awareness of the disease . Prevention and early detection are vital in reducing deaths from breast cancer .
Let ’ s look into what you can do to avoid breast cancer . Keep your weight in check . Be physically active . Eat your fruit and vegetables . Cut out Sugar . Limit alcohol . Don ’ t smoke . Avoid birth control pills , particularly after the age of 35 or if you smoke . Avoid hormone therapy for menopause . Also , there are anti-cancer supplements that can aid in fighting cancer : Omega-3 fatty acids , green
18 October 2023 tea , garlic and onion , ginger and turmeric , vitamin D , and antioxidants . If you have a family history or an increased risk , regular checkups are crucial . Effective cancer-fighting foods to keep in your meal plans are cruciferous vegetables such as beets , radishes , cabbage , cauliflower , broccoli , Brussels sprouts , and mustard greens . Garlic , tomatoes , and berries are all staples in fighting cancer .
Mindfulness , releasing stress , trauma , and negative thoughts affect our cells . If we constantly tell ourselves that we are sick , stressed , and miserable — our bodies will listen to that and believe it . We must be very careful of the stories ( and thoughts ) we tell ourselves . If you frequently tell yourself you ’ re sick and tired , your body will be sick and tired . We must fuel our bodies from the inside and clear away the toxins from the outside . Our environment plays a big role .
Are you reconnecting with nature ? Resting the mind ? De-stressing your life ? Grounding in the grass or hugging a tree for five minutes can help release those negative ions from the body .
Remember , October is Boobie month , but we should be reminded every month to take time out to get to know our bodies and be aware of changes . We only get one body — one temple . Take care of your “ temple ” and fuel it with the best life has to offer . Life is too short to be sick and tired all the time . Small healthy changes , awareness , and prevention are all steps in the right direction for fighting cancer . Most of us have been touched in some way by this nasty disease and / or know someone who has . Let ’ s fight back ! Fight back on toxic ingredients in our foods and everyday products that we may consume . Shop locally , buy natural products — Read Labels ! Ultimately , we can only control ourselves and what we do . Do what ’ s best for you each and every day ! Live life to its fullest adventure !
Now , Go touch your Boobies !
