Mac Mayberry , known to most in the business as Mac Mo Green , is the owner of MajorPac , which focuses on premium cannabis culture and lifestyle products that help you live the life you want . The company believes everyone from all walks of life should be able to live the lifestyle they want , when they want , and how they want . MajorPac held Kansas City ’ s first-ever Major Cannabis Expo in March this year at the Heart of the America Hy-Vee Arena , with over 40 companies exhibiting from around the nation joining us in the fun .
Reflecting on it all — sports , life , achieving goals , no matter how you word it , it ’ s all the same — it ’ s what you make it ! In my case , you can get down throughout the fighting training camp and make it harder and have a bad attitude because you can ’ t eat the things you want . Or you can diet correctly , be cheerful , and feast on the true fruits of life by sharpening your mind from daily readings , going to extra practices , running in 100-degree weather , and simply breaking down negativity . To be a champion , one must gain nourishment and strength daily — putting yourself through months of mini-tests that ultimately prepare you every day for a few moments during a championship battle . Do you think I wanted to run up Hospital Hill and hit the stairs of the WWII memorial , up and down three times , and then all the way around the Broadway Bridge in 100-degree heat three times a week ? Often two-a-days ! Hell , ya , I did ! And as tough as it was , I actually looked forward to it . There ’ s nothing like preparing for battle if you want to win ! And we all know there are only two ways it can go . It ’ s the drive and excitement in knowing you are building an unstoppable force that will soon be battle tested . No matter what you choose to do in life , you must build your mind and body daily to be a champion .
Earlier this year , I took on and crushed a few business goals . Major- Pac held its first-ever Major Cannabis Expo in Kansas City to bring light upon the local cannabis industry through sports , health , business , and entertainment . With over 40 companies from around the nation exhibiting at this event — it was definitely on the same magnitude as preparing for fighting as a FAC pro . The event stemmed from my years of blood , sweat , and tears and investing in the cannabis market . Creating a company [ MajorPac ] in a time of prohibition where it was said time and again that “ You ’ ll never make it .”
Mac Mo Green is also a fighter competing in the newly formed FAC ( Fighting Alliance Championship ), founded in August 2019 . On July 29 at Cable Dahmer Arena ( photos above ), Mac competed in his first FAC fight and earned his first championship title .
We asked him to share his thoughts about his MajorPac business and what it takes to be a FAC champion and patient advocate . Here are Mac ’ s thoughts .
I ’ m Mac Mo Green ; let me take you back to a short time ago when I was preparing for one of the biggest moments of my life — the July 29 FAC fight at the Cable Dahmer Arena . To make it to this day took years of dedication , hard work , blood , sweat , and tears , heartache , injury , and ultimately my belief in God .
Being African American and fighting for your place in an unsettled and challenging business world comes with a price . Gamble big , win bigger ! That has always been my motto . When we created the Major- Pac platform , we said it would become more and more Major each year ! The challenges we went through and the amount of work that went into that expo gave me the assurance that — this is what the city needs and wants . Cannabis isn ’ t just limited to one walk of life . For 2023 , expect more new things from us . I won ’ t drop the spoiler alert just yet , but know we are working daily to make the expo bigger , better , and more Major than this year .
