Laughing Till You Turn Blue …

On a sunny Friday in March , comedian Josh Blue came to say HIGHHHHH to some local Kansas City Dispensaries . Josh ’ s win on NBC ’ s Last Comic Standing in 2006 gave him the jumpstart he needed to spread laughter and break through stereotypes around people with disabilities . Josh has cerebral palsy , and his humor might be a little centered around it . Josh has made several TV appearances , earned third place on America ’ s Got Talent , and even played in the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens . Unfortunately , no gold medals were brought home , but there ’ s always 2024 ! Coming from the other high state of Denver , Josh enjoys time with his kids , girlfriend , and cats . With over 200 shows a year , Josh still takes time to greet his fans , educate , and of course , relax with some cannabis .
Josh shares that he has long been a fan of Mary Jane and loves seeing the stigma around it changing . Many people with certain disabilities have expressed how cannabis has helped them .

While in Kansas City doing shows on Thursday , Friday , and Saturday , Josh took time to visit three local KC dispensaries . He started the morning on the “ Johnny Dare Show ,” telling fans where he would be around KC . Josh took photos , signed autographs , and talked one-o-one with fans ! All his shows were sold out !

BesaMe Smithville was his first stop . He was greeted by fans in the parking lot . Once inside , Josh handed out swag to Budtenders and even some of his own Blue Dream Suckers .
The second stop was Fresh Karma in Parkville . The one and only snazzy Jericho , FK ’ s Marketing Director , was there to chat and provide fans with an experience ! Josh shared more of his suckers with fans and took a lot of pictures with the staff .
The last stop before Friday night ’ s show was BesaMe Barry Road . With a filled lobby , Josh made his way in , greeting everyone with his smile and humor . Budtenders and fans were given signature Josh Blue
The day was filled with cannabis , stories , and of course , tons of laughter . It is rare to see someone authentically and genuinely live out their dream and have such a positive influence . Josh is spreading his light through all avenues . We are lucky to have him in our cannabis family and an advocate for the uses of the lucky plant .
