Sunset Vibes, and Nightlife Experiences
Connection Wellness

AM CLUB’ S,

Sunset Vibes, and Nightlife Experiences
Health, Music, and Community! by Tara Wolf, contributing writer

Building community usually starts with conversation, but in Kansas City, Nana and King Amfo, AM CLUB founders, are proving it can also start with Pilates, coffee, and a DJ to an unforgettable experience at night. The Amfo brothers, alongside a tight-knit core group of five collaborators, are behind a growing movement centered on connection through curated experiences from morning to midnight.

Their concept is simple but intentional: bring people together through DJs, wellness, and shared environments that feel welcoming to all types of people.
They call it the AM CLUB, and it’ s just one part of a larger vision that stretches across breakfast gatherings, sunset moments, and nightlife energy. The goal isn’ t just entertainment. It’ s about normalizing the everyday act of meeting new people and building real community.
When asked why they created these experiences that invite everyone, the answer was direct. To create experiences that are just not for one type of crowd. Not just one scene. Everyone! Morning people, night owls. Wellness-focused individuals. Music lovers. Curious newcomers.
The AM CLUB celebrated its first anniversary last month in February. It was a space where worlds intersected. The milestone confirmed what Nana, King, and their team had hoped from the beginning: people want spaces where connection feels natural— not forced networking, not transactional meetups. Real experiences that make it easier to talk, move, listen, and share.
It unfolded in layers. First, a Pilates session helped people ease into the day. Personal massage was offered to create moments of calm and care. Local vendors added texture and discovery while you waited on your coffee or matcha. And Kansas City DJs set the tone, introducing new sounds and expanding musical taste beyond what attendees might normally seek out.
It wasn’ t just a lineup. It was a designed environment where people could connect without pressure. Music plays a central role in that mission. The team is passionate about opening minds to new sounds and giving local artists a platform to guide the emotional flow of each gathering. The intention isn’ t to chase trends; it’ s to introduce people to music they didn’ t know they needed and, in doing so, create shared moments that spark conversation and connection.
Wellness is another pillar. By pairing movement, relaxation, and mindfulness with music and social energy, the experiences become more than events. They become entry points into a lifestyle, where taking care of yourself and building relationships happen in the same space.
Looking ahead, the vision is expanding!
The next AM CLUB is set for March 7, 2026, at Pitchside Coffee shop located at 1819 Grand Blvd in the Crossroads district of Kansas City. Continuing the morning-focused gatherings that blend wellness, music, and community. Later in the month, on March 27, the Nightlife side of the concept comes to life at the Laila Lounge, 1717 W 9th St, Kansas City, located in the West Bottoms. Bringing the same intentionality into a late-night setting where connection happens through rhythm, atmosphere, and shared energy.
Ultimately, Nana and King want to create experiences every weekend. Spaces that entertain, inspire, and give people something to look forward to, whether they’ re starting their day or ending it.
Their approach recognizes a simple truth. People are craving connection, but don’ t know where to find it. By building environments around breakfast meetups, sunset gatherings, and nightclub experiences, they’ re creating consistent opportunities for strangers to become friends and for communities to grow organically.
Kansas City is the foundation, but the idea is bigger than a single city. It’ s about showing what happens when experiences are designed with intention— when music isn’ t background noise but a connector, when wellness isn’ t a solo pursuit but a shared one, and when community is treated as something you actively build rather than passively hope for.
Nana, King, and their team are also open to collaboration. They see their platform as evolving with the people who participate in it. New ideas, new vendors, new artists, and new voices are all part of how the movement grows. The mission is not to control the culture, but to create the space where culture can happen.
Morning, noon, and night. Different energies, different rhythms, the same purpose. Bring People Together! Because sometimes building community doesn’ t start with a grand plan. Sometimes it begins with a DJ set at sunrise, a conversation over coffee, or a moment of stillness before the day starts, and from there, it grows!
