Frequency Fasting

You Are What Your Ears Eat

by Clayton Stallings , The EVOLUTION Magazine

I first started intermediately fasting from frequencies last year , initially a few hours at a time , which led to a few days at a time and eventually to weeks , with me just completing another week in my current six-week frequency fast .

What are frequencies ? There are several definitions of the word , but in this article , I am specifically referring to sound and light waves included in the excerpts below from Wikipedia . 1
Frequency ( symbol f ), most often measured in hertz ( symbol : Hz ), is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit of time . 2
Frequency is an important parameter used in science and engineering to specify the rate of oscillatory and vibratory phenomena , such as mechanical vibrations , audio signals ( sound ), radio waves , and light .
I ’ m referring to the sounds , music , and screen time we consume , whether it ’ s local radio , satellite radio , live-streaming music , etc ., and what we watch on our cell phones , tablets , computers , or TVs . Yes , I ’ m even attempting to eliminate the SCROLLING through social media channels ! I am soooooo tired of the forced influences all over my face !
It ’ s not easy to do this when my job is to market and promote Missouri ’ s cannabis industry , but there is a fine line between invasive marketing and what we are trying to accomplish . The goal has always been to continue shattering the stigma surrounding cannabis through health and wellness with community involvement that includes spreading positive awareness about cannabis and its potential medical benefits for new consumers who may have been on the other side of the stigmatic fence for too long .
Just like fasting from food , there are many different techniques and reasons behind fasting from frequencies . However , instead of replacing that time with not eating , I am replacing that time with a combination of cannabis , reading books and magazines , meditation , breathwork , and grounding myself .
I do allow some forms of frequency , but they are HIGHLY screened .
For instance , when I watched our Chiefs compete in Super Bowl LIX on TV , I stayed home to watch it so I would be able to mute at least the commercials . However , I ended up muting most of the game . I know what you ’ re thinking — not a bad game to mute , considering how it turned out . I still watched until the end of the game , and I ’ m wearing my Chiefs gear this morning as I write this . I didn ’ t mute the game because we were losing . I have also done this during many games we have won this season . It ’ s about muting the forced influences ( negative frequencies ).
Once I started taking long breaks from my normal frequency consumption of mostly live-streaming music , television , and social media , I noticed that when I would go back to that consumption , it began sounding like regurgitated frequency loops of my old self before I started this rehabilitation technique . What ’ s worse is that they all seemed in competition for my ears with an overcontrolling “ make up for lost time ” and an excessively stern audit of every action of my every and any moment .
The longer breaks I would take between going back to listening to those frequencies , the less and less the frequencies started to make sense , and the further and further they all identified with who I am becoming . The frequencies also seemed to be far more eager for approval and attention between the gaps of silence than before while carrying with them a boastful , obnoxious energy of anxiety , acceptance , or the fear of not getting it .
