C4 ’ s first flower to the state , ironically delivered by Green himself after pre-transportation license approvals , went to the long-waiting patients at Dr . Lisa Roark ’ s “ The Dispensary ” in Cassville , MO . “ We were desperately waiting for cannabis , and the quality and price point of C4 ’ s flower was a game-changer for us ,” Roark said .

C4 was also the first cultivation in Missouri to acquire the Clean Green ® Certification , 1 which includes a long list of organic growing standards . All its flower since the first harvest has been stamped with this approval . “ It ’ s a little more of an arduous process when you ’ re not using pesticides in the bloom rooms or salts or synthetics on the front side and working with live soil ,” said Green . “ It ’ s a little more challenging , but the product and response you get at the end of the day from the consumers have been overwhelmingly good . It ’ s good to have a clean , green product in the end from an organic methodology of growing .”
The groundwork Klein laid early on , and the multiple hats Green and his team have worn along the way to participate and learn all the roles of the company led to the highquality consistency of its flower over the past three-plus years . C4 now finds itself in the expansion phase .
“ We started out with 10,000 square feet of canopy in our original facility , and our MIP used to be in the same facility ,” explained Green . “ Since then , we have gotten approval and expanded our current grow facility , adding another 8 to 9,000 square feet of canopy , almost doubling our output . We also got approval to move our MIP across the street into a new facility and are currently just waiting on final commencement inspection from DHSS to start our manufacturing operations again .”
Klein and Green took a gamble on their hometown , and the whole community ended up hitting the Jack-POT — pun intended .
According to Falke ’ s analysis , “ C4 ’ s total payroll is in the 6- to 7-million-dollar range , which doesn ’ t include the numbers from the other licensed cannabis operators in Carrolton . An accepted formula is that every dollar of payroll will increase seven times , bringing in 40 million or more to an entity like Carrolton County . This includes additional businesses coming into town like cafes , gas stations , and other businesses to service the labor force and resident increases . In just

the past few years , we have three new cafés , a new hometown committee dedicated to improving the downtown infostructure , and a community events center being remodeled with many other businesses expanding in the community as well .”
Now approaching its 100th harvest this coming June , C4 will celebrate with its community just like it did on its first harvest back in October 2020 .
