A Treatment for Prostatitis and Prostate Cancer ?
and differentiation . They have demonstrated anti-tumor effects in experimental models by decreasing the viability , proliferation , adhesion , and migration of various cancer cells . Cannabinoids can be used to treat not just prostate but also glioma and breast cancers , as well as immune-related malignancies . One of the advantages of using medical cannabis is that it specifically targets the tumor cells but has a low potency towards non-tumor cells . This is of significant importance compared to chemotherapy , where non-tumor cells are also affected by the cytotoxic effects of these agents .
When targeting cancers with cannabis , large doses of pure cannabis oil ( FECO – full extract cannabis oil ) are advised , typically a total of 60 ml over a 90-day period . FECO can be consumed orally . But this author has seen even better success with prostate cancer when the FECO is cut with a good oil ( olive , coconut , etc .), placed in a capsule , and administered as a suppository .
Please Note : What is commonly referred to as “ RSO ” should be avoided since it ’ s generally extracted using toxic solvents such as butane , isopropyl alcohol , naphtha , etc . Missouri-regulated permissible parts per million ( PPM ) of residual solvents like these are , in this author ’ s opinion , far too high . Look for FECO that has been extracted using safe solvents , such as CO2 and ethanol .
