Out & About in Missouri !
A History of The Faces of the Missouri Cannabis Industry
▲ Helping to fix loose ends with law enforcement education about cannabis , Ryan Hutton ( Highway Patrol trooper ) saw the need for law enforcement education and launched Extracted-ED Green Labs in 2021 . Missouri ’ s first Green Lab studies ( shown here ) helped fill the need the state was missing for educating local law enforcement on the new state rules as they changed , as well as helping them identify the difference between cannabis use and impairment . The educational seminars continue today . Read more about it in Karla Deel ’ s article on page 28 .
▲ The Veterans that lead the way for years after appearing on the The EVOLUTION Magazine Home Grow Series live stream in 2021 . Clayton Stallings ’ article on page 32 mentions the same men who often reunite to teach local veterans at VCP , at their “ Tiny Home for Vets ” facility , how to make dog houses out of Hemp Crete . “ It is our hope that one day those veterans will be able to build structures out of sustainable materials like hemp for themselves or potentially other unhoused veterans or refugees across the world ,” said Todd Scattini , Lt . Col . retired ( in photo on the left ).
▲ The fight continues next door in Kansas as it still imprisons cannabis users . Freedom fighter Todd Scattini , Lt . Col . retired , was the first person in the nation to be given federal access to study marijuana . Dr . Sue Sisley and Scattini ( shown here ) showed up in 2022 at the Kansas Capital to speak on behalf of all Kansas citizens who deserve access to cannabis as well as being let out of jail as cannabis legalization bills were being spoken for and against , then once again failed to pass .

Col . retired , of Harvest 360 and ( on left ) Chris Wolfenbarger , SGT retired and founder of Veteran Patient Access Foundation . One of the special guests included ( on right ) retired Col . Donald E . Ballard ( Doc Ballard ), the only living Medal of Honor recipient in Missouri . He received the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions in the Vietnam War on May 16 , 1968 , for jumping on a live grenade to protect the troops he was medically treating during an ambush . All three veterans fight today to allow veterans access to cannabis for medical conditions .
