On a Mission from Carroll County

Bringing the “ Working Man ’ s Weed ” to Missouri by Ari Fish , Contributing Writer
Editor ’ s Note : We asked Marketing Manager Ari Fish of Carroll County Cannabis Company , which produces the C4 Pharms cannabis brand , to tell the story of how the company recently acquired a partnership with one of the nation ’ s leading ( famous ) brands . Here is her incredible story .

Standing in the hallway at Carroll County Cannabis Company ’ s headquarters in Carrollton , MO , framed photos of the very first harvest in 2020 flank either side of the long corridor . The distinct aroma of the highly coveted Indica strain , Bubba Fett , permeates the air . It ’ s 3 p . m . on a cloudy spring day ; as the cultivation team saunters through the long hallway , making their way to the breakroom , Brandon Green , C4 ’ s President , is speaking with Cultivation Director Trevor Stadler about the “ Big News .”

Brandon ’ s voice carries , notably so , commanding us to convene at the crossroads of the corridor . A natural circle is formed of the hardworking crew of Carroll County natives .
“ We got Belushi ,” Brandon says with an assertion that is more proclamation than exclamation .

But this team needs no explanation , no “ why ?” and no “ how ?” In fact , this acquisition has been years in the making . With its humble bootstrap beginnings in construction and a passion for growing quality flower , what other brand would be more equipped to bring the “ Working Man ’ s Weed ” from Oregon to Missouri than Carroll County Cannabis Company ?
The circle of crew members begins to disassemble as inquiries about checking on bloom rooms are volleyed about . Thus , the team breaks away from the impromptu meeting about the big news to do what it does best , “ chop wood , carry water .” Hailing from an ancient Zen Buddhist Koan , “ Before enlightenment , chop wood , carry water . After enlightenment , chop wood , carry water .” This lesson is alive and thriving at C4 as our crew , a well-oiled machine , is exceptionally versed when it comes to the trials and triumphs of playing the long game in the Missouri cannabis industry .

“ It just made sense ,” explains C4 ’ s CEO and Founder , Tyler Klein . With the calm of a lion in a sandstorm , Klein is inevitably tackling several tasks at once with the sort of effortlessness that only comes from running a construction company for years . Klein , whose seemingly intimidating six-foot-plus frame towers over most people , consistently makes himself available to the crew for input , feedback , and check-ins . Today is no exception , as we sit down to discuss C4 ’ s MSO deal with Belushi ’ s Farm and Blues Brothers .
“ We believe in their products . We ’ ve been presented with many opportunities to
