are neuropathic pain , tingling , numbness , etc . Cannabis is often reported among MS patients as significantly reducing these symptoms . One of the most challenging MS symptoms to treat is spasticity . Several studies have shown that cannabis can be useful in treating MS spasticity . 6

As this author has previously addressed , cannabis is a powerful neuroprotectant : “ The neuroprotective properties of cannabis mean that it offers a potential therapy for not only stroke and traumatic brain injury but also Multiple Sclerosis , epilepsy , Alzheimer ’ s disease , Parkinson ’ s disease , and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis / motor neuron disease ( ALS / MND ). These conditions are often associated with age , and all of them with neuroinflammation .” 7 Where MS hasn ’ t progressed beyond the mild to moderate stages , cannabis has the ability to prevent its progression , not to mention abating many of the symptoms .

Cannabis has , for many thousands of MS patients , proven itself far more effective than pharmaceuticals and with none of the dangerous side effects . And quite often , it doesn ’ t even require very much of it to help significantly .
