“ I 100 % know I will return to the industry .”

While media outlets like The EVOLUTION Magazine are helping to quell the generations-old stereotypes that cannabis consumers tend to be lazy , it would be far from accurate to say there aren ’ t many people still harboring those beliefs . Some still believe stigmas like cannabis consumers are lazy in their personal lives and their duties to their families . At the same time , probably just as many people might equate cannabis consumers to being lazy workers while on the clock .
Much like with alcohol drinkers , smokers , and everything in between , it would be wild to say there are NO lazy cannabis consumers in Missouri . However , one with an unfounded resentment towards those with a green thumb need look no further than former cultivation team captain Kylie Nicole Scott .
Scott ’ s younger days were riddled with constant change and movement . “ My early life was a little rough , to be honest ,” she said .
With Scott in Kansas City as just an infant , her mother met Scott ’ s eventual adopted father , where she lived along with her seven siblings in the suburb of Belton until the third grade . Her sister and adopted father would eventually move to Hermitage , MO — a town of just over 500 people in Hickory County .

Kylie Scott is proud of earning her Oaksterdam University commercial cannabis horticulture program degree . The online program helped her quickly learn cultivation , while at home with Jaxson and little sister , Indica .

While most of her time spent hanging out with friends took place at events , she didn ’ t encounter cannabis around her until she was 18 or 19 .
“ I was brainwashed to believe it would damage your brain . So , while I enjoyed the euphoric experience , I was still on the fence about the plant ’ s positives .”

Due to the complications , a hospital and delivery team of intensive care doctors were selected to deliver and evaluate / monitor Jaxson . Unfortunately , professionals
