to seek relief. Some of her tried-and-true favorite products include Dr. Funkenstein by Illicit Gardens, Alien Mintz by Vivid Cannabis, and Camino gummies. If you ask her about her favorite terpenes, she’ ll immediately direct you to products that feature terpinolene and linalool.
Constance in 2025 with her oldest son, Justin. He serves as a Surface Warfare Officer and as the Director of Combat Systems. She says, after she cut back on the prescription meds, and started cannabis, she lost weight.“ I’ m able to do things again.”
As she reflected on her life, Constance noticed things were improving in January 2025. She described feeling inspired and optimistic while engaging in activities she believed were no longer possible. While chronic pain remains part of her daily life, cannabis has helped make that pain manageable enough to live life rather than just survive. Constance gives credit to her husband of 30 years, her family, and her faith for helping her navigate some of the darkest years of her life. She also encourages others living with chronic pain to continue seeking answers, advocate for themselves, remain open to more holistic options, and, most importantly, not give up on cannabis.
Every patient’ s journey is highly unique and often varies. There is a multitude of products, consumption methods, and terpene profiles that affect everyone differently. Finding the right products often requires patience and a willingness to ask questions. Constance’ s story reminds us that while cannabis may not be a cure, for many, it is most certainly a tool that restores comfort, independence, and hope.
