▲ We had to share the amazing experience of attending the Powwow on the Pitch, a special cultural event celebrating the 2026 FIFA World Cup and Indigenous heritage, hosted at the historic Haskell Powwow Grounds in Lawrence, KS, on June 24. Indigenous dancers, singers, and community members gathered in a circle on the soccer field to perform traditional dances while adorned in exquisite Native American attire. It served as a welcome and wonderful experience for international visitors traveling to the region for the 2026 World Cup.
