With the dispensary just minutes away from its top-shelf cultivation facility, you can be assured that your purchase supports locally based ownership. Meet the team from left to right: Joe Nash, inventory manager; Kaleb Taylor, shift lead; LeAnne Dickerson, president; Karen Doane, budtender; Andy Hiller, budtender, and on the far right is Kyle Towbridge, GM.
▲ Elevate Cannabis brought Missouri cannabis industry employees together for a recent 710 event. Industry employees got a well-needed break from advising customers, allowing them to sample new concentrates and cannabis products while socializing outside of the constraints of work. DOSD account executive, Michael Nachbar( on right), and Elevate lab BHO technician, Isiah Exel( middle), sample products offered by Vibe KC brand ambassador, Stephan Gott( on left), at Elevate’ s industry workers 710 event. A big Thank You to Elevate for bringing the industry together.
▲ Last month, Missouri lost one of its most notorious cannabis activists, Daniel Jones, aka Waxy Brown. More than just an activist, Waxy’ s words of encouragement and uncompromising spirit of love lifted me up more than most. I know all those who knew him felt the same. I’ m hoping a portion of the love he expressed daily will live on through me and the countless people his life touched. ~ Clayton Stallings See page 34 for Waxy’ s memoriam by Tim Harms.
▲ The smoke was rolling not only from cannabis and fireworks at KCC’ s High as Kite & Bluegrass Festival in June. After a day of kites flying high and browsing cannabis vendor booths, guests enjoyed an evening of picking, strumming, and bowing of strings by some of the best Bluegrass bands in the area, including the Whiskey Mash Band( in the photo above). It was a fun-filled day for all who attended.
