Community Curated Cannabis

The Heights Cannabis( THC) provides a comfortable customer-centric atmosphere for those looking to more intimately understand the specific effects of the infinitely increasing cannabis types available. THC opened its doors to the public in 2023, nestled in the Maryland Heights neighborhood of St. Louis. The dispensary serves as more than just a retail space— it’ s a place where both the staff and the customers can connect over a shared love of cannabis, with a focus on education and genuine commitment to service. THC prides itself on the knowledge and understanding of the unique effects terpenes and cannabinoids have for cannabis enthusiasts. Ultimately, it strives to create a collaborative process for customers, ensuring they find the products tailored to deliver the most beneficial effects for each individual’ s specific needs.

“ We are continuously learning more about this wonderful plant, and we love sharing what we know with our customers. We want customers to leave happy with the products they chose and to have the peace of mind that it’ s okay to use and think about the cannabis plant more holistically.”
Schumaker continues,“ We go out of our way to offer products from smaller cultivators and manufacturers since we know what it’ s like to be small fish in a big pond. We also like to make sure we have plenty of great options at all price points, so we can send you out with something great, regardless of budget.”
While The Heights Cannabis is the home of a great crew and phenomenal products, that is only part of its story. The rest is rolled into the larger vision of Navarro Farms. Navarro Farms entered Missouri’ s recreational cannabis market in 2021, steered by an extraordinarily talented cultivator, Carter Donnell. Carter brings years of experience gained through cutting his teeth in the medical craft cannabis industry in Oklahoma. His approach to cultivation centers around a meticulous attention to detail, typically fixated around the plant’ s genetics. This results in premium cannabis that hopes to set a new standard for flower in the state of Missouri.
Navarro Farms grows all the flower used for THC’ s in-house brands, which include Gold Rush, B-Sides, and the soon-to-bereleased Old Pal and House of Kush offerings. Each product is cultivated with care, and the dispensary takes pride in ensuring that it provides both premium cannabis and a sense of connection to the larger mission of Navarro Farms.

Visiting with the dispensary’ s General Manager, Brendan Schumaker, I quickly realized that The Heights Cannabis isn’ t just another dispensary— it’ s a community-driven initiative. The team goes above and beyond because community is at the core of this great team and the positive vibe that Schumaker and his crew have created. I had the pleasure of spending hours with Schumaker and the team, and I was blown away by how much of a family the THC crew is and the excitement and respect they emit for each other, whether talking cannabis on the floor, in cars, or the breakroom.
“ We encourage our team members to be their authentic selves when interacting with customers, treating them as our neighbors and friends. Essentially, we are your friendly neighborhood dispensary! We are here to share our love of cannabis with folks; that’ s how we approach every day,” said Schumaker.“ We are a small dispensary with a lot of heart. Each and every employee loves what they do and is happy to share what they’ ve learned during their time in the industry.
Old Pal will offer new convenient options like ready-to-roll flower, pre-rolls, and infused blunts. For those looking for something a little more out-of-the-box, House of Kush celebrates the legacy of Pre-98 Bubba Kush genetics with flower, as well as innovative infused K-cup coffee pods— perfect for customers looking to kick-start their day in a new way. Both brands serve as a testament to Navarro Farms’ commitment to quality and convenience, with products designed to meet the needs of all types of cannabis consumers.
While The Heights proudly features its in-house brands, it also stocks a variety of fantastic products from other Missouri-based cultivators and manufacturers. The THC team takes particular care in selecting products from smaller growers who share the same values and commitment to quality and authenticity. THC understands the challenges of being a small player in a competitive market, and it is dedicated to supporting others who aim to push for quality cannabis experiences.
“ We want to make sure we have options for everyone,” Schumaker explains.“ Whether you’ re on a budget or looking for something high-end, we’ re here to make sure you leave our shop happy and with exactly what you need.”
