2nd Annual Frost Bowl

Announces 2023 Winners

The state-wide grow-off competition had 45 flower entries and 26 concentrate entries .

The 2nd Annual Frost Bowl winners took home coveted Frost Bowl trophies on February 11 in Columbia , MO . The event celebrated the local cannabis community . This year , the state-wide grow-off competition had 45 flower entries and 26 concentrate entries . This year ’ s event was for home cultivators . The 2024 event will have home cultivators and licensed facility competitions .

The Frost Bowl host and Missouri licensed cultivator Justin Page said , “ What ’ s so great about the Frost Bowl is its focus on the local cannabis artisans . This event provides a platform for Missouri-based artisans to showcase their products and services , which helps support our local economy and drive growth in our state ’ s cannabis industry . It ’ s an opportunity for us to show the rest of the country what we ’ ve got , and I have to say , we ’ ve got a lot !”
Page said the event , now in its second year , just keeps getting better . “ We ’ ve had two successful runs so far , the first being in St . Louis and the second in Columbia . Both events drew a large number of people , and it was great to see so many cannabis enthusiasts , business owners , investors , and industry professionals come together to celebrate our local community .”

This event promotes responsible cannabis use and encourages attendees to follow state laws and regulations . It ’ s also a platform for organizations and individuals working to promote social justice and equity in the cannabis industry . “ That ’ s the kind of thing that makes me proud to be a part of our local community ,” said Page .

“ One of the things that sets the Frost Bowl apart from the other cannabis events is its emphasis on small business artisans and community focus versus high profit-driven corporate events ,” said Page . “ This event features a variety of goods and services by local industry experts . It ’ s a great opportunity to get to make valuable connections with one another , and cannabis enthusiasts can meet other like-minded folks .
This event provides a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that makes it easy to build relationships and form partnerships .
“ Giving back to the community is also very important for us ,” Page says . “ I try to always make a donation ( photo above ), and the Frost Bowl was a huge success , so I ’ m happy to be able to give $ 500 to two great nonprofit animal rescues : Boone County Animal Care and Jenny ’ s Wildlife Wonderland .”
