Editor's Note
The intent of issue is to introduce the reader to a progressive movement that focuses on the betterment of society.
This religious, ethical, and educational community was established in the middle of the 19th century in the US. This movement was chosen for various reasons: Ethical Culturists are a unique group that represent a fragment of society that seek to achieve tolerance, equality, self-improvement, and morality in the world. Even though it is a religion, its main beliefs distinguish and exemplify a break from the conventional Western religious discourse. This writer believes that the Ethical Culture movement is a distinctively American foundation, rooted in the ideals of the Founding Fathers. This release is an invitation to get to know the Ethical Humanist Societies and offer an insight to its main beliefs, organization,
structure, and ultimate mission.
