1.Visiting Nursing

Within the framework of the Visiting Nursing project, the society sponsored nurses and doctors in visiting patients who are either homebound sick, unable to reach a medical facility, or live in poor neighborhoods, but were in need of medical assistance.

The Free Kindergarten sought to help the children of the working class. This tuition-free school gave opportunity for educational-advancement for these youngsters.

2.Free Kindergarten

The Free Kindergarten grew into the still existent Ethical Culture Fieldston School. This child-centered school is based on alternative and creative teaching methods where the development, well-being, and happiness of the children is the top priority.

3.Providing shelter for women, men, neglected children, and the

homeless

In order to help women, men, the homeless, and children who were neglected by their families, Ethical Culture Societies offer them an opportunity to stay in a house, where they provide food and accommodation.
