Smith Videos by General Idea General Idea videos are rented and sold through the New York City–based non-profit Electronic Arts Intermix, which also offers free screenings by appointment. Several institutions hold in their collections videos by General Idea, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York (which also has a copy of General Idea’s only film, God is My Gigolo); Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto; Kunsthaus Zürich; and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
