Essential Feature Fabfest entertains the Mayor, Mayoress and Hashtag Teddy George The Mayor, Mayoress and Hashtag Teddy George had a great time at the Tabley Fabfest with the Girlguides of Cheshire and joined in the fun and games. At the end they joined the High Sherriff and Lord Lieutenant for high tea. Hashtag Teddy George, made by the Burtonwood Sewing Group, tucked into his scone, cream and strawberry jam before he had a snooze in the Mayor’s car on the way home. Remember wherever the Mayor and Mayoress go Hashtag Teddy George goes as well unless of course he is at nursery or tucked up in bed. He has reached 80 LIKES in just over a week and you can LIKE his Facebook site https://www.facebook. com/#!/HashtagTeddyGeorge?fref=ts to see where the Mayoral party go. They met lots of Girlguides from Warrington and were looked after by Kate and Sarah from Appleton. The Mayoress said to the girls: “Your names are easy to remember because we named our daughter Katie Sarah”. Perhaps the best and trickiest game of the day was stuffing balloons down ladies tights and then once you had somehow achieved that you placed them on your head like a hat to gain a sticker for your game card. 12 Ten issues in Culcheth • Lymm • Great Sankey & Penketh • Chapelford • Stockton Heath & Appleton Thewlwall, Grappenhall & Latchford • Birchwood • Lowton & Golborne • Newton-le-Willows • Warrington Town
