Stockton Heath Festival was
founded 7 years ago to provide
arts,cultural and heritage events
and is now the busiest Festival
in the area. This year the action
packed 4 days and nights attracted
thousands of visitors both locally
and from the wider north west
region.

Top line ticketed acts included Drama
with
Stockton
Heath
Methodist
Dramatic Society performing Peasouper
and Oddsocks outdoor performance of
Twelfth Night. A whole host of live music
with Warrington Male Voice Choir, Swing
Commanders, Gilbert & Sullivan from
Warrington Light Operatic Company,
Folk with the Turnpike Folk, Fake That
the fabulous boy band and the finale
night of Motown Magic with Diane Shaw
and her Band. In addition there was a
host of free entertainment on the Festival
Field including local choirs, dancers,

Competitions
included
photography, family quiz, the highly
competitive dog show and ever popular
village scarecrows. The scarecrows all
came up to the Festival Field so people
could vote for their favourite. The results
reflected local life with the winners being
a pub (1st -Stan the Minnion from the
Red Lion) the Health Centre (2nd - Dr
Who from Stockton Heath Medical
Centre with Walton Lea Partnership)
and the Church (3rd - the Vicar from St
Thomas’).
The Festival is a charity organised and
run entirely by volunteers.
