Cheshire Jail Break
Escape is only the beginning…
Are you ready?
On the 26th of July 2014 we will be
launching our first ever Cheshire jail
break event, in aid of Genesis Research
Trust and we need you!
The event will begin from Risley prison
at 10am, teams have 10 hours to get from
Risley prison back to HQ base at The
Black Swan, Rixton by 8pm covering as
many miles as possible without using a
penny of their own money. The team’s
distances will be measured by UFindIT
apps measuring distances covered.
Each team will be competing for one of
three prizes for the following:
- The team which covers the furthest
distance
- The team which returns with the most
unique/inventive mystery prize for the
raffle
- The team which raises the most money
for the charity along the way
Our aim is to raise funds for two local
ladies Juliette Hassell and Zoe Atherton
in aid of Genesis research trust, to help
improve the lives of women and babies
worldwide.
In November the ladies will join Professor
Robert Winston’s Women for Women
cycle challenge to Tanzania and Zanzibar
to raise money to fund medical research
into the prevention, diagnosis & treatment
70
of a range of devastating conditions such
as miscarriage, premature birth, brain
damage & cancer. This is a charity, which
is very close to both ladies hearts, and
has touched their lives in different ways.
Women for Women is the name of the
challenge and is administered by Genesis
Research Trust. Professor Winston is
Chairman of both the Trust and Women
for Women, for more information visit
genesisresearchtrust.com
The ladies need to raise a minimum of
£6200 to take part in the cycle challenge.
The cycle will take them 350kms over 5
days from Dar es Salaam in Tanzania to
Stone town on Zanzibar Island.

So to get them there we need you!!!
We need teams to enter, and anyone can
come along to help so if you’re a team
of friends, work colleagues, business
looking for a team building exercise with
a difference, or family looking for a crazy
day out, then this is the event for you.
Alternatively if you don’t feel up to the
challenge of putting a team together you
can come down and enjoy the family fun
day we are holding at The Black Swan
from 4pm onwards including live music,
children’s entertainments, bbq, face
painting and all at the fantastic setting
of The Black Swan to welcome the teams
back home. We will also be holding a
mystery raffle of prizes donated by the
teams as part of the challenge together
with the official Cheshire Jail Break
partners. A full list of the prizes will
soon be available on our website www.
