Essential Feature Big Brownie Birthday at Blackpool On 14th June, 55 very excited Culcheth m u c h Brownies and 10 (equally excited) leaders needed climbed aboard a coach bound for meal. And Blackpool and its most famous landmark, for afters? the Tower. “That’s an epic Tower,” A behind exclaimed a Brownie as it came into view the scenes – and the rest of the trip lived up to this tour of the circus to see first pronouncement. We first watched where the animals used to be kept!. We the Tower Circus, where the performers learnt some fascinating things, including thrilled us all with their acrobatic skills that the elephants used to walk across and the clowns Mooky and Mr Boo the road every day to bathe in the sea! made us laugh out loud with their antics Everyone agreed the animals were better An energetic session at Jungle Jim’s was off elsewhere. Finally, the Brownies followed by a settled down to sleep in the actual Circus Ring – and sleep they did; in fact quite a few needed some persuasion to wake up for breakfast the next morning. It was worth getting up though, because we were whizzed up to the top of the Tower to experience the Glass Floor – and many brave girls were quite happy to lie down and gaze down to the ground many metres below. After the obligatory shop visit for souvenirs, everyone piled back on the coach for a somewhat quieter journey home.
