Drivetime Golf Centre
Drivetime provides a wonderful location
for both the golfer & non golfer who
wants fun , fresh air & exercise.
We have starter courses for Juniors,
Ladies, Gents & Seniors.
We have hire clubs available and
thousands of ballls so if you have no
“GOLF STUFF”, no problem.
The Junior section has approximately 25
members now from 6 to 12 years of age
and we hold a golf day for them every
couple of months.
The ladies section (many whom have just
started) has grown from two in August to
forty now and we also arrange golf days
for the ladies every couple of months.
Chaps don’t worry, we have a forty strong
golf society operating from Drivetime. We
play a different course every two months
with great prizes. Handicaps from scratch
to 28 and also a beginners section.
Its been a fantastic development over the
last 12 months to see families continue
to visit and the numbers grow.
Also we are reaching out to all schools
and colleges in the area to feel free to
visit us between 10am & noon or 1pm to
3pm everyday with pupils to avail of our
mission of fun fresh air and exercise and
an alternative to the games consoles and
TV!
We also now host disabled group fun
golf sessions for phyically or mentally
disabled groups.

We are not just a golf driving range - we
work extremely hard to become part of
the community.
Upstairs at Drivetime “Golf4ALL” is a
function room which can hold up to
eighty people.
While we no longer host weddings and
the likes, we do offer the room to groups
in the area for example, Boxing, Round
Table, Zumba, Aerobics, Scouts, Bridge.
The room is available 9am to 9pm
Monday to Thursday and 9am to 8pm
Fri-Sunday.
We have free of charge parking for over
100 cars however we are also ten minutes
walk from Bank Quay Station, at the end
of Slutchers lane.
And of course for the golfer! We have new
teaching mats, new tees, 15,000 new golf
balls (2 piece which give 90% distance).
The range is set with a fairway and nine
greens for your varied practise.
Also through our Café is the “Short Game
Improvement Centre” - 9 holes from 25
to 100 yards off grass, a pitching area, golf
course standard bunker and two putting
greens.
If you want to improve your golf - then
get to Drivetime!
Oops, I mentioned the café! In fact its
called the “BUNKER CAFÉ”. Easy to get
in, difficult to get out! Need I say more…
