The soggy tents were packed into the
trailer ready for drying in Widow Twanky’s
laundry, akka our Scout centre. Pocket
money spent on souvenirs. Badges to
show their achievements presented and
it was time for home.

and Beavers to the parents who came
along to help and to the two assistant
scout leaders. Overall, we had a great, if
somewhat wet camp!

School
Year Four children in Newchurch
Community Primary School performed
an Act of Kindness by visiting Holcroft
Grange to perform their gospel songs.
The children thoroughly enjoyed sharing
their talents, and the residents and staff
of the care home were very impressed
with their enthusiasm and generosity of
spirit.
