Many buildings have strong connectivity with the community where public are regularly held. Such activities community
identity for the projects. Shopping centre, large commercial complexes and even places of higher learning readily lend
themselves to holding events like exhibitions, community fairs and festive events.
Ample public spaces are provided in the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, HDB Hub, Marina Square and the Shanghai Expo.
The waterfront promenade along the Esplanade is a favourite venue for the yearly Chinese New Year “Hong Pao” event.
