Welcome to The Equestrian
Welcome to The Equestrian, the forward thinking equestrian magazine that
brings insightful and inspiring articles to any device. There is nothing like it,
your favourite horsey articles on your phone, tablet, or computer with you
everywhere you go! What could be better!? We have lots in
store for your reading pleasure, here are some of the highlights.
Amy Collinson is a bright star from New Zealand, currently show jumping in Europe.
She is living her dreams, after packing her bags and her beautiful stallion Capello
G and heading to Europe to further her career. Amy is super fun and incredibly
hard working in her quest for international success. Prepare to be inspired. On
the other side of the sport, we have Tess Anderson who grooms for New Zealand
Olympian Blyth Tait. She shares her stories of what it is like to groom for one of
the best. It is hard work being a groom but Tess is truly dedicated to her job and
it isn’t hard to see that she feels Blyth’s success, every bit as much as he does.
There are plenty of great training articles to inspire. We have show jumping, cross country and dressage covered, helping you on your way to smashing your goals. On top of that we have included a variety of horse care articles that we hope you enjoy. Horsemanship comes first and foremost
to anything else so get clued up on all aspects of horse care that you can!
From page 41 we have The Equestrian Junior which caters for our younger readers. We have included jumping tips, pony care articles, and an interview with fabulous young dressage rider Soraya Brison. We also have
an extra treat in store with Chapter One of Spirit of the Wild Horse to
read. Each issue we will be publishing a chapter so stay tuned for that.
Don’t forget to take a screenshot of our last page if you want to be
in the draw to win the $100 Beyond the Bit voucher. I personally love
their range of equestrian wear and it is exciting to see them explanding
with new items for their range all the time! You have to be in it, to win it.
Please feel free to get in touch via our contact page should you have any comments, suggestions, wish to contribute or advertise- we love to hear from you!
Hope you enjoy our first issue and don’t forget to hug your horses!
