Horse holidays Western Australia We’re riding through a vast ancient landscape. It feels raw and wild. Looking up above there are slabs of red rock, which has eroded over many, many human lifetimes to form an ochre dust. Whilst it is hot and dry, there is a vibrance and energy to this place that makes you feel alive. The landscape is dotted with trees that look like none anywhere else in the world. There is a uniform spacing between them, like they each have their own parcel of space that provides each one with all the water and nutrients they need – no more and no less. Everything here has adapted to the harsh environment, if it can’t handle the tough times it won’t survive.
