So here we are in the high country of Western Australia, experiencing some of the best you can get in horse riding holidays. We are riding true station horses, mainly crossbreds from quarter horse and Clydesdale descent. They are sure-footed in the challenging terrain, responsive and fit for the job. The local guides know their horses and this country, and are passionate about sharing it with guests from all over the globe. and the best wine the country is renowned for creating. The camp sites are far from primitive however, you will be treated to fine cuisine The season starts in late May and goes through to the middle of September. Expect all weather; it could be warm and sunny, or it could be snowing! Bringing a range of clothing will ensure you are comfortable throughout the trip. The groups are kept small, just 8-12 guests, and you will be riding for five to six hours a day.
