Somewhat more down to earth, Classics by Jim Stokes Workshops is a classic car dedicated garage carrying out servicing, maintenance, repair, restoration and inspection. Here, a team of experienced, multi-skilled engineers work to service and restore a wide range of classic cars, with the likes of Porsche 912 and even a full restoration of a 2CV amongst the many cars they’ ve caters for.
JSWL also offers a range of trackside support services, especially with Goodwood House and the motorracing circuit less than 20 miles away, as well as storage and garaging facilities for classic and vintage vehicles, with optional maintenance programmes to keep cars in‘ ready to run’ condition.
All things considered, it’ s a phenomenal operation that has developed to become capable of an incredible range of services to classic car owners of all types and ages. Most importantly, it is also has a broad business base which combines expert specialisms with a wide range of services, providing a high level of quality as well as quantity. But this is not a bubble that will burst; with an eye on the future, training apprentices in each department will ensure that, over the coming years, the skills of restoration will not be lost. Z
