FER concludes successful annual conference
n As part of the organisation’ s commitment to increased presence in the engine reconditioning space, the Federation of Engine Remanufacturers( FER) has concluded a successful annual conference.
Held at The Motorist, Leeds, on Saturday 25th October, attendees met with leading industry figures from Rottler, King Bearings and MS Motorservice after insightful lectures on engine reconditioning practices.
This year’ s event aligned with FER’ s enhanced trade presence in 2025, having attended the leading automotive aftermarket trade exhibition, Automechanika Birmingham. The federation also lobbied for the engine reconditioning industry and renewed activity across its training programmes. All of which has remained consistent throughout the year.
The conference marked the penultimate event on the FER training calendar, having held training meetings throughout 2025. Rod Bennett, Operations Manager at FER, said‘ The FER Conference provided a fantastic opportunity for members to connect, share insight and build professional connections that last. We’ re very thankful for everyone who attended our event from across all areas of the industry.’
