Anthony Daher officially opened Dahtone Racing in 2008 out of a passion for Nissan GT-Rs.‘ RBs are the thing that makes me tick, I guess.’ Says Anthony.‘ The obsession started and I bought a Skyline. I became part of the community and wanted to stay in it and serve the

The Sydney, Australia-based business has grown in 17 years.‘ I just wanted to work by myself and tinker with cars and I was happy if I could make some money. I never expected it to be this.’ But Anthony doesn’ t want it to grow too big. He has chosen to keep his team small and insists on having a hand in every job. He still hand-builds all the engines, and all fabrication, welding and wiring is done personally by Anthony.
‘ I want to build trust with the other people in the community, so they know where they can get honest advice from and information. I don’ t hide things; there are no secrets when it comes to this sort of stuff for me.’ Explains Anthony,‘ Obviously we have to make money from it to live, but I just love these cars.’
